### Effects of Technology on Children

 In todays modern world technology plays an important part in day to day life from younger to the older people, as we use the magical electronic device called mobile phone. We all know that mobile phone is been consider as a basic need in todays time.

You will generally see that everyone carrying their mobile phone, wherever they go no matter for outings, for a casual walk, or going out for get-together, while eating or sleeping people have mobile by their side and nevertheless, when they get up the first thing they see is mobile. 

In other words, we can say that mobile has replace the precious thing that used to be pen, I want to say that today you will see people rarely carrying a pen, but surely you will see the mobile phone in the pocket.


Children using electronics devices

Mobile device have become an integral part of people lives as we have seen its advantages as well in the hard times especially in covid times. It played the important role in the world to be connected with your near and dear once, also in many ways no matter in shopping or making payments or get the important news and updates from the government and around the world.

Today, school children's lives have been significantly impacted by mobile devices, with both the positive and negative effects no matter in the hard times like covid, it came out to be a boon for children. As children got introduced to the technology, closely where the online classes were conducted for the students by the various schools and educational institutions to support the  education system for the children's well being, however the technology comes with both the sides of positives and the negatives.

Mobile devices are now a significant factor in the lives of school children!

Positive effects:

1. Training Apps: Educational apps created for diverse age groups aid in reinforcing concepts taught in school by engaging in interactive activities, quizzes, and games.

2. Cyber Learning: Children acquire essential tech abilities, which include navigating digital interfaces, typing, and basic programming. 

3. Approach to Information: A wide range of educational resources, including videos, articles, and tutorials, which can help with learning and research, are available on mobile devices.

 4. Coordination and Communication: Students are able to coordinate, on projects and keep in touch with teachers and peers outside of the classroom through platforms such as Google classroom, zoom or chat apps. 

5. Individual Learning: Personal learning experiences are made possible by mobile devices. Students may learn at their own pace, review lessons and use apps that respond to the specific learning needs of each student. 

Negative effects:

Adverse effects of electronic devices.

1. Absent-Minded: There may be a significant distraction with mobile devices. Attention is being diverted from studies by games, web applications and entertainment apps that reduce focus and productivity.

2. Lessen Physical Activity: Prolonged screen time may lead to a sedentary lifestyle, reducing the amount of time spent on physical activity, such as sports, which is essential for development of the child.

3. Resting Disorder: Sleeping patterns may be disturbed by the use of mobile devices before bedtime, especially due to blue light emitted from screens, which can effect cognitive functions and overall health. 

4. Unsociable Impact: In addition, excessive use of mobile devices may lead to a reduction in face-to-face, interaction and hamper the development of essential social and communications skills. 

5. Exposure to Inappropriate Content: Growing internet access can expose kids to inappropriate content and online predators who engage in cyberbullying, both of which can have detrimental psychological effects. 

6. Reliance on Technology: Over-reliance on mobile devices for entertainment and problem-solving may cause children to lose their ability to think critically and creatively over time.

Regularizing Mobile Use: 

1. In order to ensure a healthy balance between screen time and other activities, it is imperative that parents establish rules and monitor usage. 

2. Digital literacy, which includes responsible use, the value of privacy, and efficient screen time management, needs to be taught in schools and by parents.

3. Negative effects can be reduced by promoting the use of educational and well-being apps, such as those that support physical activity, creativity, and mindfulness. 

In todays modern world, mobile devices have become an integral part of students lives but how they are used makes a crucial difference in their impact. Also parenting plays an important part in children's life being a parent, we can take out time for our children and play with them taking out for a walk or we can go in the garden and spend some time with them. 

Cycling can be the better option, this can be the physical exercise for children rather then they spend time on mobile device parents can spend some time with their children's and work on their betterment and successful life for better future.
